Danville is 15 miles east of the San Francisco Bay, just off of Highway 680. The Gallery features an eclectic selection of painting abstract and plein air, and other media to include; collage mixed-media, sculpture, classic landscape, photography and furniture. The Gallery hosts four juried competitive exhibitions in January, April, July and October of each year. There is a call for entries for the upcoming October 2009 show. The juried competition is open to artist working in painting, mixed media and college. The exhibition is titled, "Imagine California Image." The juror for the October 2009 show is Philip Linhares, Chief Curator Oakland Museum. The entry deadline is September 19, 2009. The exhibition opens on October 17 to November 18, 2009.
